  • The political landscape of the United States has evolved immensily from what our founding fathers first envisioned. This course will look at the historical basis of our government, and then analyze how that model is interpreted today.

  • Psychology is one of the most interesting areas of all the social studies. While many areas of social studies look at geography and events in the past, psychology instead looks directly into the lives of people. It includes how and why people behave, learn, and think the way they do. In this class we will look at the brain, learning, emotions, and even dreams. It is my hope that at the end of this semester you will have a better understanding of yourself, as well as what makes people they way they are. 

  • This summer school transition course will serve to help students "bridge" the gap between middle and high school. Student will be engaged in a number of activities designed to provide them the skill sets necessary to be successful at the high school level.
